Teen Volunteer Orientation: 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 31. Do you need service hours for high school? Would you like to help your community? We need student volunteers to help during the summer doing many activities, including shelving books, crafts, assisting in children’s programs and more. Stop by for an application or apply online at volusialibrary.org before May 31. If you are unable to attend this orientation, you must wait for the next one later in the summer (date and time TBA). Grades 9-12.
MAGIC SHOW! 11 a.m. Thursday, June 8. Greg Phillips presents impossible magic, off-the-wall comedy, wacky puppets and music with audience participation. This event will equip kids to build a better world! Grades K-5.
Mad Science: 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 13. Our mad scientists have been stranded on a deserted island and need you to help them build a new world! Learn about shapes, structures and engineeringas you help to create a new desert paradise.Grades K-5.
Imagination station: 11 a.m. every Thursday from June 15 through July 27. Calling all architects, builders, crafters and artists! Using Legos, pool noodles, straws, chenille sticks, collage and art materials, food and more, children will create original masterpieces. There will be a new project every week. Grades K-5.
