Build-and-Create Afternoons: 3 p.m. Tuesdays, June 6 through July 18. Create a fun craft and use our Legos to complete building challenges. Kids up to 12.

MAGIC SHOW!  3 p.m. Wednesday, June 7. Join us as we kick off a summer full of fun events and reading together at the library with a special performance by magician Greg Phillips. Grades K-5.

Teen Summer Kickoff: 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 8. Join us for an after-noon of “minute to win it” games, crafts, and lots of other fun. Grades 6-12.

 

 

Dancing Dogs: 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 14. Cheer for
a delightful group of dancing dogs. Grades K-5.

Teens Go Green: 2 p.m. Thursday,
June 15. Join us for an afternoon of repurposing and recycling as we play games, make crafts, and have fun together. Grades 6-12.

 

 

Family Fort Night: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 20. Bring the family to a fun night of building and reading in forts that we build together! Ages 2-12 and their families.

Mad Science: 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 21.
Experience Mad Science in the library during this exciting performance. Grades K-5.
Teens Deconstruct and Reconstruct: 2 p.m. Thursday, June 22. Join us as we build our own golf course out of books and compete to see who has the best putt! Crafts, games and other fun activities will follow our time on the course. Grades 6-12.  

Lego Night: 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 26. Build with the library’s Legos, and we will put your creations on display! Ages up to 12 and their families.

 

Lemonade with the Sheriff: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 28. Volusia County
Sheriff Mike Chitwood will join us for a special family storytime! Join him and other law enforcement officers for a
fun time of lemonade, stories, Q&A time and crafts.
Ages 2-7 and their families.

Building Big in the Library: 3 p.m. Wednesday,
June 28. Join us for an afternoon of building challenges, games and crafts as we continue to focus on building a better world together! Grades K-5.

Teens Change the World: 2 p.m. Thursday, June 29. Compete in superhero relay races, make crafts for the helping-hands projects, and join in other fun activities focused on serving our community to make our world better. Grades 6-12.

Family Movie Day: 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 5. Bring
the whole family to watch a fun movie with us on the big screen in the library! Kids up to 12 and their families.

Teen Hang-out Day: 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6. Join us for a relaxed hang-out time and watch a movie, play the Wii, use our craft supplies, and play board games with friends. Grades 6-12.

Gatorland at the Library: 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 12. Join us as we welcome performers and animals from Gatorland. Grades K-5.

Teen Giant Game Day: 2 p.m. Thursday, July 13. Compete against others playing oversized Scrabble, Connect Four, Jenga, Bowling and other giant games! Grades 6-12.

3rd Wheel Drummers: 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 19. 3rd Wheel Drummers will perform for our final “Build a Better World" event. The reading log book sale will begin after the program. Grades K-5.

3rd Wheel Drummers Workshop for Teens: 2 p.m. Thursday, July 20. Participate in a drum circle for our final teen summer program. Grades 6-12.
