Volusia County Social Studies Fair Information  Click the Parents & Students tab. Click the Social Studies Fair link in the "Links for Students" box, then click on the "Social Studies Fair" link in the left menu.

Social Studies Sources   A collection of many different websites with geographical and historical information.

National History Day  The national organization that sets the theme for social studies fair competitions has many links to ideas for projects and information that you can use to do your project.  This is a great place for students who need help getting started.

100 Milestone documents  100 documents compiled by the National Archives. These documents chronicle U.S. history from 1776 to 1965 and include a facsimile, as well as the full text of each document in readable text. These documents are primary sources.

Eyewitness to History   Your ringside seat to history - from the Ancient World to the present. History through the eyes of those who lived it. The documents in this site are primary sources, and instructions for how to cite each article are included at the bottom of each page.

National Archives   Many stories and photos from history can be found here, including information on the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and “The deadly virus”, about the 1918 flu pandemic.
