LIBRARY CLOSURE

The portable at John H. Dickerson Heritage library will permanently close down at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 9th. This is in preparation for the library's reopening in its restored building.

Basic computer skills training & assistance
Cover letter & resume editing
Internet access for job searches and completing applications
Email account set-up assistance
VCPL database assistance
Some eLabs (or lab times) may include assistance using the library's digital services on laptops and tablets. See staff at the service desk of the local branch for more information.
Access to online eGov applications such as:
- Unemployment claims
- Food or housing assistance
- Social Security
- Medicaid
- Affordable Care Act

Volusia Reads Online Book Club

Volusia County Public Library has partnered with PBC Guru and Freading to create a virtual book club for patrons and the community.

The book for August - September is Kinfolk by Sean Dietrich.

Kinfolk is the Southern story you've been waiting for. It's a page-turning delight with Dietrich's trademark humor and heart-filled insight. Kinfolk is a novel about second chances, deep love, forgiveness, and the power of country music - all wrapped up in a lyrically told story.
