A face mask is required for inside access at the following library locations: Daytona Beach (City Island), DeLand, John H Dickerson Heritage Library (Keech St), New Smyrna Beach, Orange City. Face masks are encouraged at all our other locations. Please follow signs and floor markings to maintain CDC recommended social distancing.
All items due on or after March 1, 2020 were extended to June 15th and no overdue fines have accrued on these items while we were closed to the public. Returned items will be quarantined and will not clear off your account until they are checked in and returned to the shelves. Please return your items using the bookdrop.
Each branch will operate at 50% occupancy to maintain social distancing. Seating is limited. Meeting rooms and study rooms will remain closed.
Computer use is limited to two (2) hours per day per person (a person may stay on a computer for the entire two hours). Some computers have been relocated to maintain social distancing. Library staff will provide assistance remotely using messaging and screensharing software.
Curbside pickup will continue for patrons that do not feel comfortable returning to library branches yet.
