Lit Kits

Library's BreakSpot pageYouth Services staff will be curating Lit Kits for children in grades K-5 to include library books, activities, and other educational materials.

Kits will be filled and picked up on a weekly basis (or less frequently, depending on patron preference) between June 1 and August 15.

Every Tuesday, we will read the first chapter of a popular book. If you like what you hear, reserve a copy.

Kindergarten Readiness

Online Summer Reading Logs!

Children, grades K-5, can track their summer reading online and be rewarded!

The summer reading challenge will run June 1 through August 31.

If children read at least 4 days each week over the summer, they'll earn prizes.

Introducing Miss Humblebee's Academy

Miss Humblebee's Academy is an interactive kindergarten-readiness program that introduces children ages three to six to key concepts in math, science, social studies, language and literacy, art, and music. It's as challenging as it is fun! For ages 3-6.

Join this exciting program for children ages 0 to 5. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your precious one starts kindergarten. Enroll at your local branch!
