NOURISH. CULTIVATE.  GROW.

“If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.” Cicero

A SEED LIBRARY is a community initiative where public libraries offer a sampling of seeds (for various plants) to residents, allowing them to grow their own food, grow their own traditional or windowsill gardens, support local pollinator ecosystems, or to enhance their properties, decks, or patios. This concept cultivates community and a connection to nature, while fostering sustainability, gardening, and local food production.
